Senior Pastor

With an Electrical Engineering Degree, an MBA, eight years at Intel under his
belt, he was pursuing his lifelong dream of being a millionaire before reaching
the age of 30. God interrupted that quest in the hot summer of 1988. Four years
later he and his wife Jill with their 3 children, left his childhood vision
to enter seminary in Pennsylvania. He was ordained an Episcopal priest in 1995.
After six years with Christ Church in Plano, Tx, he set out, with the Episcopal
Diocese of Dallas, to plant a church in Frisco and has been here since its inception
in Spring of 2002!

Associate Pastor

Diana was a busy stay-at-home Mom minding her own business of reaching her own kids for Christ when the Lord called her to be a priest. Striving to be obedient, she completed her M.Div. at Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria before heading to the Florida panhandle to be ordained. She has served on staff in churches in Florida and as rector of a congregation in the Diocese of Albany, New York. She holds a MFA degree in graphic design and illustration, and has worked in the fields of marketing and Christian Education while testing her call. Her passion is helping families to live out their faith in their homes, workplaces and communities. She is married to Paul, a retired military officer-turned-airline pilot. Together they have three grown children: Matthew, Nathan, and a college student, Mary.

Prosper Church Planter

After eighteen years in the oil industry, Michael accepted the call to ordained
ministry and was ordained an Episcopal priest in 2006. Michael served as the
assistant rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Parish, in Bakersfield, California
before accepting a call to plant a church in the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas.
While ministering at St. Philip’s, Michael is working in partnership with St.
Philip’s to plant a new church in Prosper. Michael received his MDiv degree
from Fuller Theological Seminary. Michael also has a BS degree in Chemical Engineering
from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from the University of Houston, Clear
Lake. Michael has been married to Kathleen for over twenty-one years, and they
have a sixteen year old son, Thomas.
Administration

Parish Administrator

Lori is responsible for all financial, office, personnel and technical matters
here at St. Philip's. Additionally, she oversees all facilities maintenance.
Before moving to Texas from New Mexico five years ago, Lori had been involved
in human resources work for nine years. She also has extensive banking experience.
Lori loves working at St. Philip's and being able to help the community and
the members of the congregation. Lori lives in Frisco with her sons, Dillon
and Kyle.

Communications Ministry

Laura is responsible for ongoing communications for St. Philip's, including
advertising, public relations, website content, signage, church mobilization
tools and promotional materials. A native North Carolinian and graduate of
Wake Forest University (BA Communications) and University of Texas (MS Marketing),
Laura is a lifelong Episcopalian who has spent her entire career in Communications
- first in the field of radio/television broadcasting, then in advertising
and marketing communications for over 15 years. Laura felt a true calling
to join the staff of St. Philip's and has a real passion for helping the church
grow, both within our own church family as well as in the community. Laura
lives in Frisco with her husband, Michael, son Alex, and daughter, Maren.
Children's Ministry
Team
The purpose of St. Philip's Children's Ministry Team for is to develop and
implement programs that provide children a fun and safe environment in which
to grow faith that impacts the world for Christ.

God has been growing and preparing Jill for service in Children's Ministry
her entire life. As the daughter of an Episcopal priest, Jill grew up learning
the liturgy and traditions of the church. As a young woman, Jill's education
and professional experience focused on Child Development as she worked with
several organizations to develop programs for children of all ages As the
mother of three children, Jill put into practice her training and skills to
love and encourage Jenny, John and Joshua to be the people that God created
them to be. As the wife of a priest (Clay), Jill has had many opportunities
to help people and their ministries grow in faith by creating program structure
and organizing and equipping adults to bring vision to fruition. Now as the
Children's Ministry Team Lead, she works to strengthen each area of
ministry, expand vision and welcome excited and capable people who are called
to make the vision come to life.

Sheryl brings a wealth of experience with children's education and
the training of teachers for various Houston and Dallas area school districts.
She is Texas certified for grades K-12 in both general and special education.
While her two older boys, Alex and Sam, were home schooled, Sheryl served
as a leader in local area parent organizations, lobbying legislators, encouraging
parents and organizing on-site learning experiences. Her responsibility as
Children's Ministry Vision Coordinator centers on developing vision
for programs that support families as they raise children whose faith impacts
the world. Sheryl and her husband Robert also have a daughter, Hannah. Together
they teach the Confirmation Class during the school year for sixth graders
of St. Philip's.

Ouida is the Administrative Assistant for the St. Philip’s Children’s Ministries and helps with registration, attendance and gathering supplies for our wonderful teachers. Before joining the staff at St. Philip’s, Ouida was a stay-at-home Mom for 10 years, having worked in the construction industry previously. Ouida is a graduate of Texas A&M and lives in Lewisville with her husband Mark and their three children, Elizabeth, Thomas and Emily. Her two youngest children attend St. Philip’s Preschool and Ouida is very involved with preschool activities and fundraising.
Youth Ministries

Youth Minister

James is a native Texan, who comes from TWU in Denton, where he worked in
the Athletic Department. He has been involved with youth in various capacities
since he was in high school. James and his wife Rachelle, who is a choir director
in the MISD, live in Frisco with their dog, Molly. He is excited to be a part
of St. Philip's family and enjoys working with our youth and their families.
Discipleship Ministries

Director of Discipleship

Beth is the Director of Discipleship Ministries. Being a disciple is simply
living your whole life for Christ. Beth's objective is to make sure St. Philip's
has the programming in place to provide individuals with all the support and
encouragement they need. Discipleship Ministries encompasses Membership Development,
Adult Education, Missions & Outreach, Men's and Women's Ministries, Small
Groups, and Fellowship Ministries. For the last few years, Beth has been the
Director of Women's Ministries here at St. Philip's. Prior to her work in
ministry, Beth worked in Human Resource Management but now feels called to
exercise her gifts here. Since moving to Frisco from Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2002
with her husband Rich and sons Jake and Ryan, the family has truly been blessed
here at St. Philip's and can't imagine being anywhere else.

Director of Membership Development

Janet's ministry welcomes first time guests, and shepherds them through
the membership process. Janet has been a member of the church since the first
service, Easter Sunday 2002, and volunteered in the office for the first two
years. She has been on staff since May 2004. Janet spent 9 years as Asst. Director
of Volunteers at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, one of the largest hospitals in
Florida. Janet attended Kent State University for two years, and University
of Akron for one year, and has an associate degree in community services. In
addition to her work at St. Philip's, Janet is a member of Newcomer Friends
of Greater Plano, which she helped found, and served as its president for the
2004-2005 club year. Janet lives in Plano with her husband, JR, and their 2
Golden Retrievers.

Director of Missions
and Outreach

Mary is responsible for coordinating all mission and outreach efforts at
St. Philip's. Her background is in retail buying, where she worked for
JCPenney for 13 years before leaving to stay home with her eldest child. She
was a member of the first Peru Mission team from St. Philip's and since
that time has felt God's call on her life to be a part of the Great Commission,
coordinating and sending people out to spread the Good News. She resides in
Allen with her husband Greg, who works with the youth at St. Philip's,
and her two children, Grant and Faith.
Music Ministries

Music Ministry Director

As Music Ministry Director, Angie is responsible for playing the keyboard,
selecting music, leading the adult choir, vocal team, and children's choirs
as well as assisting the preschool, elementary, and youth group directors
with music in their programs. Angie has a B.S. degree in Elementary Education
with a Minor in Music from the University of North Texas. She has been involved
in church music ministry in some capacity since 1987. Spreading God's love
through praise and worship continues to be her focus in this ministry. Angie
lives in Frisco with her husband Richard and her children Ryan, David, and
Aubrianna.

Vocal Team Director

Greg Anderson is an Oklahoma native and began service in church music as a teenager.
He attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated with a degree in Business
Administration, emphasis in marketing. He began his music career at the age
of 16 and has worked as a PianoEntertainer for almost 20 years, playing on cruise
ships and in hotels around the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Greg
currently resides in Frisco and works as a PianoEntertainer in various venues
around the area. His vision for the St Philip’s music ministry: an inspiration
and invitation to congregants and visitors alike to raise their voices in praise
to God through music.
St. Philip's Preschool

Mary has been with St Philip's since March 2006 and is the Director
of St. Philip's Episcopal Preschool. Mary has been involved in several
Preschools in the Frisco area since 2002. She loves the opportunity to touch
each family and child that comes to St Philip's. Through the Preschool
Mary shares her love for children, education and Christ. Mary has been with
St Philip's Episcopal Preschool from the beginning and continues to help
our school touch more children in the Frisco Community. Mary is originally from
Guam but she has made Texas her home since 1996. Mary lives in Frisco with her
three children Stefan, Aemilia, and Nicolas.
