Join Us Saturday, April 28 for St. Philip’s 6K for Water!
St. Philip’s is partnering with World Vision to sponsor a 6K run/walk on Saturday, April 28 at the Frisco High School track to help provide desperately-needed clean water for children and families struggling in the developing world.
Start Time: 9:00 am (Arrive by 8:30 am)
Place: Frisco High School Track, 6401 Parkwood Drive, Frisco, TX 75034
Six kilometers (approximately 3.7 miles – or 15 laps around a track) is the average distance people – usually women and girls – walk to get water for their families. Often, the walk is dangerous, children miss school, and the water is dirty. Your run or walk provides clean water for one person for life – just 15 laps around the track at Frisco High School can change a life forever!
World Vision has named May 19 as their official Global 6K for Water day, but we are holding our race on April 28 in celebration of St. Philip’s Anniversary.
Let’s celebrate by putting our hearts and feet together! With God’s love, every step we take is one they don’t have to.
During registration you may be asked to create a fundraising page, but this is completely optional. 100% of your registration fee will go to World Vision for clean water. Of course, you are always invited to raise more money or even better, invite your friends and family to register as well. If you do not want to do additional fundraising just place $0 in the “fundraising amount” box.
St. Philip’s Registration Deadline: April 13 (to guarantee a t-shirt for race day)
Walk-up registrations welcome.
