longing for hope

Longing For Hope Sermon Series

Advent is an important season of getting ready for God’s arrival – not just a time to twiddle our thumbs until Christmas comes. And that preparation involves opening our hearts to God, and eagerly anticipating his coming. But in this year of tragic events and spiritual darkness, our longing for God, and hope in Him, can easily be lost. In our Advent sermon series Longing for Hope we will examine what it’s like to be spiritually dry, drowning in our own difficulties, and personally defeated by people and circumstances in our lives – and learn how our hope can be restored through Christ. Join us Saturdays at 5 pm or Sundays at 9 or 11:15 am, beginning December 2/3.

In the midst of the usual busyness leading up to Christmas, give yourself the gift of reflection. Each day through Advent pause to reflect on the hope, peace, joy and love we have in Jesus with this short devotional.
