Need Communion brought to your home?
Lay Eucharistic Visitors take the church to those unable to attend due to short-term or long-term health issues. A licensed Lay Eucharistic Visitor (LEV) will take communion to those in the parish who request it – whether in the hospital, a nursing home or a private home.
Shoulder your burden
Caregiver’s Support Group supports each other through prayer and fellowship, sharing of information, and the day-to-day knowledge and understanding of what each of us are experiencing, so we might be of help to one another. We strive to maintain a place where every member feels safe in the knowledge that nothing said or done within the group will be shared outside the group. We typically meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm. For more information contact Sharon Claxton.
Food Care Team provides meals for families who need short term help through a challenging time. Many people who benefit from this service are recovering from an illness or surgery or may have just brought a new baby home. Homebound Team provides consistent physical companionship for those who are confined to home, assisted living or a nursing home. Card Team creates personal notes to those in need at regular intervals and during difficult times of the year.
