St. Philip’s Global 6K for Water
Saturday, May 4 | 8:30 am - 11:00 am
Join Us Saturday, May 4 for St. Philip’s 6K for Water!
Water changes a life. Especially for women and children who spend hours a day walking to collect it. Join St. Philip’s family once again on Saturday, May 4, as we walk for clean water, so they won’t have to.
Start Time: 9:00 am (Arrive by 8:30 am)
Place: Frisco High School Track, 6401 Parkwood Drive, Frisco, TX 75034
Six kilometers (approximately 3.7 miles – or 15 laps around a track) is the average distance people – usually women and girls – walk to get water for their families. Often, the walk is dangerous, children miss school, and the water is dirty. Your run or walk provides clean water for one person for life – just 15 laps around the track at Frisco High School can change a life forever!
World Vision is the biggest provider of clean water in the world. Together, with people like you and me, all 100 countries that World Vision works in will have clean water by 2030.
Let’s celebrate St. Philip’s Anniversary by putting our hearts and feet together! Gather your neighbors, family, friends, co-workers, sports teams and more and join us as we help reach the goal of providing clean water for all 100 countries. With God’s love, every step we take is one they don’t have to.
During registration you may be asked to create a fundraising page, but this is completely optional. 100% of your registration fee will go to World Vision for clean water. Of course, you are always invited to raise more money or even better, invite your friends and family to register as well. If you do not want to do additional fundraising just place $0 in the “fundraising amount” box.
St. Philip’s Registration Deadline: April 29 (to guarantee a t-shirt for race day)
Walk-up registrations welcome.
