High School graduation is an exciting time for most teens, but for youth living in foster care, it is a time of anxiety and fear as they face providing for themselves without the love and guidance of parents and family. You can help us ease their transition by providing some necessities they will need on their journey towards independence.
St. Philip’s is hosting a High School Graduation Party for foster care youth to celebrate the accomplishments and hurdles they have faced and overcome. We are providing a dorm/apt basket full of necessary items they will need as they leave care and support themselves.
We have made it so simple for you to help!
Shop our special Target Gift Registry and have the items delivered directly to St. Philip’s* – we will create a care basket for each youth.
*Buy as much or as little as you wish; please have items delivered by May 16.
Help assemble the gift baskets on Thursday, May 17 from 1:00-2:30 pm or help decorate for our Foster Care Graduation Party on Saturday, May 19 from 8:00-10:00 am, contact Rhonda Colgrove to let her know you’re coming.
