OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS
During the school year we serve in three ways at Bright Academy, an nearby elementary school in the Frisco ISD.
- Bright Buddies Classroom Champion: Work with a teacher all year to provide weekly classroom support by focusing on students that need a little extra time.
- Bright Buddies Mentor: Mentor an at-risk student by having lunch with them each week and building a positive relationship with them.
- Bright Helper: A list of volunteers who are available to help Bright throughout the year on various projects and needs.

Frisco Family Services exists to help members of our community who are facing hunger, homelessness and other urgent needs improve their quality of life and achieve self-sufficiency. St. Philip’s works with FFS on many projects throughout the year, such as, their summer lunch program, providing thanksgiving boxes and collecting gifts for their holiday store.
Embrace Texas connects willing hands with opportunities to serve children in foster, adoptive and kinship care in our community. Throughout the year St. Philip’s helps bring awareness to the need for foster parents in Collin County, hosts a graduation party for kids aging out of the system and helps sew weighted blankets to ease anxiety for children in foster care.
Gateway of Grace is a 501c3 helping refugees start over, many of them survivors of severe trauma, with donated furniture, pocket money, groceries, baby showers, job assistance, language lessons, and more. Most important, perhaps, Gateway trains volunteers and churches to adopt refugee families, the point where friendships form and integration begins.
