Flourishing – Parents and Children
We’ve all marveled at the talents of Cesar Millan, the famous “Dog Whisperer”. With just a slight touch of his hand, dogs exhibit zen-like obedience to his commands. When asked about his secrets, Cesar revealed “dogs are keyed to their owners – their misbehavior goes back to you”. In that respect, training a dog and raising a child have some things in common. What can we learn from the “Dog Whisperer” and Ephesians 6 about raising children? How can we apply these insights to our own parent-child relationships?
