Have you ever broken up with someone because you were afraid the other person was going to break up with you? It’s possible to do that with God too.
We all have times when we may feel abandoned by God – even saints did. But who is really the one who walked away? We may be the one leaving the relationship – either intentionally (“the breakup”) or unintentionally (slowly deprioritizing God).
But sometimes God is the one who leaves, leaving us in a “spiritual wilderness”. How can we use these times of “abandonment” to ultimately discover God’s grace and forgiveness?
