The Blessed Life
How many of us have an evening routine with our kids, a dinnertime “check-in” to see how their day went? Some call it “roses and thorns” or “sunshine and clouds” (good things about the day; not-so-good things about the day). In addition to sharing these good things/bad things about the day, Fr. Clayton decided to add two new categories of “blessed and blessings” to his nightly check-in – asking how they had been blessed or been a blessing to others that day.
Sounds easy to answer, right? But his kids were a little confused, and we may be, too. What does it really mean to be blessed? And how do we know if we are being a blessing to others?
