The Bread of Life
We all know the story…Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem. But did you know “Bethlehem” means “house of bread”? He was born in the “house of bread”, and laid in a manger (or feeding trough). Later in his life, Jesus said: “I am the bread of life”. We get nourishment from bread in our daily lives, but did Jesus mean temporary nourishment, like a sandwich? Or something much greater?
