The Glory of Grace: Righteousness
During a recent family visit to the Arbor Hills Nature Trail, a sudden thunderstorm arose with cracking thunder and lightning, combined with wind to start a brush fire – a little scared and confused, we had to act quickly in the moment to put the fire out. In Romans, Paul speaks of lightning striking in our own lives through Jesus’ resurrection, and his reign of grace rolling like thunder. But if we allow the wind of our own passions to blow us around, the fire can consume us. What choices will we make in the storm? And what are the consequences?
