Transformational Discipleship – Convinced. Proclaimed.
“Doubting Thomas”. You don’t have to be familiar with the Bible story to know what this phrase means – someone who simply won’t believe what is directly in front of them. But for all his doubts, the apostle Thomas’ exchange with Jesus after the resurrection transformed him from a doubting hanger-on to a faithful disciple. Thomas looked upon the resurrected Christ and responded “My Lord and My God.” There is no greater proclamation of belief – and there is no place, anywhere in the Bible where a human being has a more accurate description of who Jesus is. So how do we get that incredible faith like Thomas? How do we go from knowing about Jesus to being a true disciple?
