Pastoral Care

Need help? St. Philip’s offers several ways to care for and support our church family and community.

WE'RE HERE TO HELP

Crisis Care Line

If you or someone you know is in an emergency or experiencing a crisis, call our Crisis Care Line at 469-353-5300. Someone is available 24/7 to speak to you.

Home Care Teams

If you’re homebound and need extra care, our home care teams can provide:

  • Meals (for those recovering from illness, new parents, etc.)
  • Visitation (for hospital patients, nursing home residents, etc.)
  • Communion (Lay Eucharistic Visitors can take communion to hospitals, homes, etc.)

Pastoral Counseling

We offer short-term Pastoral Counseling free of charge. Our Pastoral Counselors are trained through Community of Hope International to serve others through compassionate listening. Contact Earlene Caldwell to make an appointment.

Licensed Therapy

We also offer resources for longer-term licensed therapy with Licensed Professional Counselors Michael Hyder, LPC and Jeremy Edge, LPC and Earlene Caldwell, LPC who have part-time office hours at St. Philip’s to help you navigate life’s changes and challenges.

Caregiver Support

Being a caregiver for others can be stressful, and even lonely. Our Caregiver’s Support Group supports each other through prayer, fellowship, and mutual understanding. For more information about Caregivers Support contact Sharon Claxton.
