St. Philip’s Groups

St. Philip’s Groups are an excellent way for you to grow as a disciple of Christ. Our faith journey is not meant to be done alone nor is it fully experienced on Sunday morning. God created us to be in community with one another, to learn together, encourage each other, pray together, and care for one another. We offer a variety of groups to help you grow your faith, serve others, and fulfill your call to be a disciple in meaningful ways.

• Discipleship Groups are formed and led by parishioners. These groups meet with the goal of growing as a disciple of Christ through Bible study, Christian book discussion, prayer, and service projects for the church and community.

• Fellowship Groups are formed and led by parishioners. These groups may form around a common interest and typically gather socially once a month or more. They also pray together, support one another, and support outreach projects.

• Church Ministry Groups are established by St. Philip’s and support a specific church ministry. These groups are typically led by a lay leader with support and direction from clergy and staff ministry leaders. They are vital to the ongoing operation of our church, special events, and worship services.

No matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you.

Group Leaders

Leading a group isn’t about being perfect; it’s about serving others by giving them a place to connect. Hosting a group is simple — choose a day, time, and location to meet with others and leave the rest to us. We give you essential tools to make your group successful through leadership training, registration support, and great content options. We believe people’s lives are changed in small groups, and group leaders are blessed to play an important role in that transformation.
